Galentine’s Day Red Tent
Tuesday, February 13th 6-8:30pm
Red Tents, also known as Menstrual Huts or Moon Lodges, were a sacred space within many ancient cultures where women would gather while menstruating. It was a time to celebrate the divine feminine while honoring our Moontime and the blessings it bestows.
This re-envisioned Red Tent is a space for all womb keepers who have experienced menarche to gather together to re-remember the sacred power of menstruation, whether you’re actively bleeding or not (those who no longer possess a womb or are past their bleeding years are still welcome to join).
This Galentine’s Day Red Tent is going to be an evening of womb awakening and sisterhood connection as we celebrate our womb sovereignty. We will begin with a heart-opening Cacao Ceremony as we connect to this plant medicine and explore the Her-story of the Red Tent. Group divination will provide insight into messages from the cosmic womb and lead us into connecting to our sacred sensuality.
There will be an Ecstatic Dance Ceremony where we will let our wombs move us as we embody our innate, flowing, sensual energy and connect deeper to our wombspace. We will conclude with a grounding womb meditation to help integrate the medicine that arises. We encourage you to dress in red, preferably something that makes you feel confident and sexy but is comfortable to dance in.
This is a safe, private space where you’re invited to show up and embody the fullest expression of your womb wisdom, however that may look for you. Join us as we dance the Spiral Path toward reclaiming and honoring our sacred cyclical nature at the Galentine’s Day Red Tent.
